| Jones Dairy was initially Morgans Dairy, but was taken over after a relatively short time by S. Jones who already had another dairy shop in Turin Street (now demolished). |
He married a Mrs Evans who was a widow with a daughter and a son. In what is now the Café, there were eight milking cows fed daily from the haymarkets and exchanged for fresh cows from Wales every six months. |
When Mr Jones died, his Widow carried on the dairy at 23 Ezra Street , turning the ground floor of 21 Ezra Street into the bottling department. |
