History
Jones Dairy was initially Morgans Dairy, but was taken over after a relatively short time by S. Jones who already had another dairy shop in Turin Street (now demolished).
He married a Mrs Evans who was a widow with a daughter and a son. In what is now the Café, there were eight milking cows fed daily from the haymarkets and exchanged for fresh cows from Wales every six months.
When Mr Jones died, his Widow carried on the dairy at 23 Ezra Street , turning the ground floor of 21 Ezra Street into the bottling department.
